koala is distributed under GPL. koala distribution is made of two tarballs. koala-x.x.tar.gz contains the source code of koala itself, i.e. the model compiler, the code generator and the supervisor high level code. models-x.x.tar.gz is available for download separately and contains several ready-to-use model examples.
